I know this is not related to my business, but it may be for some i.e . catering. I have to go food shopping today, yeah! I always struggle with how to go about it. You see I live WAY out in the country and you don’t have a local chain store here. I like Whole Foods, but it’s like 25 miles away. Walmart is cheapest, of course, but the selection of organic and fresh is almost non-exsistant. What I don’t like is that Whole Foods doesn’t have some things that I’m just not willing to give up, i.e. Diet Coke, snack foods, etc. So, once I do use up all my gas going all the way to whole foods to get the good stuff I still have to hit Walmart or Publix for the bad stuff.
My BFF of 17 years died of colon cancer this year and she was a month younger then me (I’m 33). It was a real wake up call as to what I ingest. So, I really try to at least get my meats, dairy and veggies without hormones, antibiotics, pesticides, etc.
I would love to see how mom’s and dad’s handle this situation. Have a happy Tuesday! Rainbow
