New Blog Site and Green Shoe Option

Welcome everyone that has found their way over from my Eco-Office Gals site!!! I had never been thrilled with the OL Spaces blog features and after spending the weekend flexing my wings with a clients blog, I decided I would try Blogger out myself. So here I am!
Wanted to share a green tip tonight that I’m stealing from the Green Path Company’s Newsletter. I just thought it was that neat! It couldn’t come at a more perfect time! You see my husband has a very pitiful pair of sneakers dry rotting next to the front door. They are not fit for Goodwill, trust me! That’s when I found my answer in the newsletter. Nike runs a program called Reuse-A-Shoe, they take your old nasty sneakers and turn them into Nike Grind which is then used for athletic courts, track fields, even zipper pulls and button snaps. How many nasty shoe’s have I sent to the landfill before now!
Anyone know where I can send my blown out high heels??

Your new blog is fantastic and the theme is simply adorable! I love it, love it, love it!

As for the shoes… Well, I had no idea that you could pass on the tennis shoes, so I have not a clue on the high heels, but surely you could come up with something creative to do with them. I’ll put my thinking cap on.
