Good Monday Morning! Today I am doing a double review and giveaway. It was just meant to be, these products came together by fate. See first, I was introduced to ecosmart world products. They make non-toxic eco-friendly whiteboard markers. As much as I would’ve liked to do a review their product I had nothing to use them on so I had to decline. Fast forward a few weeks and Jaysond of ScienceAide introduces me to their reusable scratch pads. Hello?? So here they are let’s check them out!
I was introduced to this super awesome reusable scratch paper from ScienceAide. I love using this whiteboard scratch paper while on the phone with clients or doing internet research. Just write, erase and reuse, over and over.
Then Eco Smart World has these equally great refillable dry erase pens. These dry-erase pens are recyclable, refillable and xylene free (one of the most toxic chemicals in the world and found in most disposable dry-erase pens) Each starter kit is equivalent to 246 pens
The kit also comes in 6 colors with refill ink and they don’t stink! Yah, you know that nasty dryerase pen stink! Apparently that comes from the toxic xylene.
Now as much as I love these two products I have to admit I haven’t had a whole lot of opportunity to use them. Yep, the girls have taken them over, I have 1 sheet for me… that’s it. But on the other hand I’m not having to dig up used paper for them to color on, right?
Ok, so 1 winner gets the whole deal, the scratch sheets and the pens!

It’s interesting how “greening” schools also reduces their costs. That’s really great.

” North American teachers will throw out over 500 million whiteboard markers into their local landfills.” That really blew my mind. I love the fact that they are making these instead, if I win, I’m going to give a few colors to one of my teachers, great contest!

I learned this “Forgot to put the cap back on? Don’t worry. The AusPen markers will work for days (more than 72 hours) without being capped.”
A great feature for use at work where people are always taking your markers and then forgetting to cap them grrr).

By using their markers, you will never throw away another disposable marker into your local landfill. You will also not be exposed to the toxic chemical Xylene, which is used in the ink of the traditional disposable markers (that’s what that smell is when you take the cap off). Thank you so very much for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!

Hi! Question! I’m in LOVE with the scratch paper idea. I have to take organic chemistry next semester and I’d love to use the organic chemistry reaction sheet along with the markers. I know i’ve missed the giveaway but is there any location that these can be purchased?
Thanks so much for any answer!

I found it interesting to learn that “North American teachers will throw out over 500 million whiteboard markers into their local landfills.” I guess I assumed they all used chalkboards.
