I love the Denny’s analogy. I think “if you order a steak at Denny’s, don’t complain about how terrible it is” could be a mantra.

I’ve always lived by a corollary: “Don’t order seafood in Nebraska.”

We live in an age of specialization; it’s often the only way we can stand out from the teeming hordes who do work very similar to our own.

My wife (http://SueAwesome.com/), like Cristina (Hi, Cristina!) has chosen a narrow range of the enormous variety of skills she has, and focuses on doing just a few things flawlessly, instead of trying to use every skill she has.

You don’t become remarkable by trying to be all things to everyone.
