Governments seem to always mis-handle large amounts of money – probably because one man (such as Obama) with a grand vision simply can’t oversee every detail of putting his plan into action – he has to delegate some decision making to other (sometimes less-capable) people.

That said, this is the first time in our history that someone at the top seat of power has gone so headlong and hearty into greening up our planet.

He might flog a few dollars on the way, but when people look back on this time period, will they focus on the ill-spent money, or will they focus on the well-spent money that turned our planet around?

However, with that said, I think that some of the measures that help to create an incentive for going green are very important and will hopefully have a very big impact on the environment. The long term effects of these programs could be pretty far reaching, so it is something I can get behind…
