Happy St. Patty’s Day: Green Beer

Happy St. Patty’s Day! Yes, I did totally drop the ball for Flaunt It! Monday, but it was intentional.  I have been branching out in so many directions, I just needed a break.  More announcements in the near future!

Meanwhile, it was perfect timing when Grist contacted me to see if I would like to share some green beer resources with my clients for St. Patrick’s Day. So… Cheers!

Brewer’s Dozen. In our latest tasting, organic beer comes of age.

Through a Glass, Darkly. A tasting of seven organic beers.

A Cure for What Ales You. A tasting of five fall-friendly organic dark brews.

Since St. Patrick’s Day is coming up soon I was searching the web for green beer and came across this site. I was actually looking for how to make green beer, but anyways. The video provided some interesting points. I am very curious to find out if organic beer/alcohol cuts down on hangovers because I could certainly use the help. Also, I did not know about the pesticides in beer, never really thought about it actually, but I guess they use pesticides on everything, including the hops and barley used to make beer so it makes sense.

Even more organic is to brew your own… (costs even less as well…)
