Green Gem of the Week: Safer Brand

As some of you may know. We have passed our 1 year anniversary on our 3 Acres of land out here in no-mans-land, SC. Many of you also know that it has been the SC red clay mud pit from hell! Well, we FINALLY put a stop to that mess and had someone out here that knew what the heck they were doing when it came to growing grass! Green is sprouting up everywhere like crazy and the whole family is so happy! (Yes that’s our grass in the picture! Taken from my phone about 5 minutes ago!  Woohoo!)

Luckily, we are going into Winter so we shouldn’t have to worry about too much maintenance, but times flies and Spring will approach fast. That’s why an introduction to saferbrand.com caught my attention this morning.  After all,  lawn maintenance will have to begin, I have compost to figure out what to do with, insect maintenance, you name it, the games have just begun!
